Baptism Gift Idea

My twins' friends have all been getting baptized.  This is what our family likes to give them:

Most kids when they get baptized receive a new set of scriptures so I like to give these to help them personalize their scritpures.  I buy them from Deseret Book.  There are several different series available but I like to give the Savior Series.  You can buy it online HERE from Deseret Book or Amazon has several of the other series available as well.

Then I attach a little homemade card complete with their name at the top.  My kids sign the bottom and I tie it up with a white ribbon.  Easy!

I have a little boy card...

And a little girl card...

You can download these HERE.  I like to print them on white card stock.  The clipart is courtesy of my favorite artist Susan Fitch found HERE.

These would also make great gifts from the primary after a primary child has been baptized!

Thanksgiving Place Cards and/or Gift Tags

I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year so I created these simple Thanksgiving place tags.  I'm going to tie them around the napkin rings using some twine!

You can download the document HERE.  I typed up each person's name in the space provided.  These are also great to tie onto any housewarming or thank you gift you bring to your Thanksgiving party!

Here's how my table came together...

The clipart I used is from Susan Fitch found HERE.  I absolutely LOVE her work!

Kickoff to Girls Camp Invite

I just finished an invitation for a friend who is camp director this year!  I've never done an invitation for girls camp so this was new for me, yet loads of fun!

If you like the clip art, I got it from Susan Fitch...her artwork is AMAZING!  Check out her girls camp collection HERE if you like.

If you like my barnwood background, I'll share it with you :).  It's a just a simple iPhone picture of our cabin's deck as I couldn't find an online image that I liked so I improvised and made my own.  You can either right click on the image below or I have it saved HERE for {maybe?} a better resolution image.

Happy camping!!
