Valentine's Day Bingo

I'm helping out with my Kindergartener's Valentine's Day class party.  I decided to play Valentine's Day Bingo with the kids.  I couldn't find what I wanted online so I opted to make my own!

I made 30 different sheets that you can download HERE (print as many as you need).  I made them black and white so I could print them on colored card stock - half on red and the other half on pink.  I'm hoping that will help teachers who don't have access to color printers as well. I then laminated them for durability (and so they can be wiped clean afterward!).

Download the calling cards HERE.  I printed these on white card stock, laminated, cut out and placed in a Ziplock baggie.

There are 30 images but only 16 squares on the bingo sheets so obviously not all the pictures are on all the sheets - it's good to forewarn the kiddos so they don't flip out when they can't find a certain picture on their sheet!

To use as markers, I'm simply bringing enough conversation hearts for each child:

The kids can go for 4-in-a-row or blackout.  I'm planning on a nice "high 5" for each 4-in-a-row and their prize for blackout is they get to eat all their hearts :).  Super easy and super fun!

Studio C Valentine Card Printables

These arrived in my inbox yesterday.  I was SO thrilled to use them...we LOVE Studio C around here!  The document to download is HERE.  But since I have a million little kiddos who need a million Valentine's Day cards, I adjusted the images so they are a little smaller and print 8 to a page...

You can download my adjustment HERE.  I printed ours on white card stock then I had my kids tape on a sucker and write the names on the back.  Pretty original and pretty fun(ny)!

Caroling Song Page

Have you ever been out caroling and everyone starts singing Frosty the Snowman only to find out that the group knows maybe the first few lines of the first verse and the chorus, then repeats the few known lines in order to just finish the song?  Well I totally have and I'm sure I'm not alone!!

A few years ago when we went out caroling in our neighborhood, I cut and pasted together a whole bunch of classic Christmas songs and squished them on 2 pages that could be printed front-to-back.  I made enough copies for all the carolers in our group.  It worked like a charm!  No longer is everyone wracking their brain for what song to sing next because the options are all right there!  Now you can really enjoy your caroling!  

Download the 2-page document HERE.  I'd suggest printing them front-to-back so there's only one single sheet of paper to hold.

(I ran out of room to fit the whole song for Jingle Bells but if I'm not mistaken, that is one that EVERYONE knows ALL the words to!)

Teacher Holiday Gift

I thought these would make the perfect gift for my kids' school teachers!

I found the cutest poem for teachers HERE.  It even included the image to download!  

ThenI found $2.00 4x6 red frames at Target...

The image above didn't quite fit right so I adjusted it.  You can download my adjustment HERE to have it fit a 4x6 frame.  I had mine printed at Costco as a 4x6 lustre picture...easy!

These would also make great holiday PTA gifts to teachers!  Our school this year has a lot of male teachers and this gift would be great for both genders!!

Thanksgiving Place Cards and/or Gift Tags

I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year so I created these simple Thanksgiving place tags.  I'm going to tie them around the napkin rings using some twine!

You can download the document HERE.  I typed up each person's name in the space provided.  These are also great to tie onto any housewarming or thank you gift you bring to your Thanksgiving party!

Christmas Gift Tags

I made the following tags for a project I was working on and thought I'd share.  They are great for gifts you are giving on the "large-scale" like neighbor gifts, church group gifts and the like!

Download them HERE.  I printed mine on white card stock, cut them out simply (just around the white space) then punched a hole in the corner in order to attach to all the gifts and signed them.  Easy!

Relief Society Birthday Gift

This year our Relief Society is theming everything around journaling and writing your history.  The  plan is to have the theme incorporated into as many ways as possible...activities during the week, Sunday lessons and birthday gifts for all the sisters - that's where I come in :).

The RS presidency asked if I'd design a simple birthday card to give to the sisters to help with their theme.  The card needed to be able to faciliate a pencil being inserted into it.  Here's what one of the RS presidency members and I came up with...

Aren't they so cute??  You can download these images HERE if you like.  We printed all of these at Costco as a 4x6 lustre photo, then cut slits using exacto knives in order to attach the pencils to the card (the idea being the pencil looks like a candle inserted into the cupcake - sort of).  Here's what the finished product looked like:

I suppose these could also work for more than just Relief Society...any birthday gift where you want to attach a pencil!  They may be a little femine for a man, however :).

Old Halloween Songs

I came across these Old Halloween Songs that were published in our church's children's magazine in the 1950's (at least that's what I was told).  How fun would it be to teach one of these songs during a class Halloween party?

Halloween Taboo!

I created this Halloween Taboo game to play at a Halloween party we were throwing for our friends.  It turned out to be TONS of fun and super easy!

You can download these 360 cards document HERE.  I printed first on regular white paper, cut out the squares, then mounted on some fun yellow cardstock squares, then laminated.  But printing originally on card stock and laminating would definitely suffice.  I found a fun little pumpkin bag to store them in.

You will need some sort of buzzer.  I really like this one from Amazon HERE.  Or what's even more fun is if you can find some sort of Halloween themed buzzer with all those scary halloween sounds!

Heart-Attacking!

We decided to make 2 of our neighbor's Valentine's Day and "Heart Attack" them the night before so they'd wake up to a fun surprise!  I printed off hearts found HERE on sheets of various colored paper:

I printed off 4 sets of these so each neighbor got 8 pages of hearts.

Then we wrote little "conversational heart" things on them like "You Rock!" or "We Love You!" My kids wrote their names on one, etc.  Then we cut them out, glued a few to some popcycle sticks, a few to some string and attached tape to the rest.

When it was almost dark, we delivered them!  Super fun!!  A great way to help the kids learn the various forms of LOVE (through service!).
