Peacock Wedding Announcement

This bride (who also happens to be my sister!) had a fun request that she wanted incorporated into her wedding announcement...peacock feathers!  All of her wedding plans will be incorporating them somehow - totally unique!  We decided to incorporate the feathers into the bold aqua background pattern and then add subtle gold accent feathers, thus being able to incorporate her wedding colors into the invitation as well!  It all came together beautifully!

We also brought the background theme from the main announcement into the inserts, though slightly modified to still make them unique.

Kraft Paper Wedding Announcement

This bride wanted a low-key, rustic feel to her wedding announcement and she did well choosing this vintage kraft paper as her background.

LDS Boy Baptism Invitation

This handsome guy turned 8 and is getting baptized!  The challenge is always on when designing more masculine invitations without them being too plain.  I'm really pleased how this one came together as it totally screams boy!

Floral Watercolor Wedding Invitation

Another bride with fantastic taste for wedding invitations!  She knew she wanted lots of greenery and simple pale pink flowers to accent the greenery.  This is what we came up with and I am so pleased with how they turned out!

Gorgeous pictures for the back!

We carried the floral watercolor theme throughout the invitation.  Here is the luncheon insert:

With a great photo on the back:

These printed out as a 4x5.5 card.

Then the sealing invitation had the same floral theme, yet slightly altered.

And a simple backside.  Love it!

Crab Themed Baby Shower Invitation

Here's another fun invitation I was asked to create!  The mama-to-be is expecting twins (a boy and a girl) so this fun pink/blue invitation was a must!  She is also theming her nursery around crabs and nautical items so why not incorporate the same theme into the shower invitation?

Birth Announcement/Baby Blessing Invitation

I'm pulling out another oldie this week...I wanted to showcase the birth announcement/baby blessing invitation I did over 2 years ago (how has it been 2 years already??) for my daughter.  With all of my kids, I've combined both the birth announcement and blessing invitation into one card.  That way it serves more than one purpose.

This was the frontside:

Digital Vellum Wedding Invitation

Check out this stunning wedding invitation with the transparent digital vellum on the front that looks SO classy...

Then the backside has a great headshot of the couple looking into the camera which compensates for the image on the front.  Isn't this a gorgeous couple?:

I thought it was very thoughtful to formally invite those who wouldn't be at the temple sealing to pictures afterward:

The couple was also having a ring ceremony.  This photo of the bride's ring and both the bride and groom's hands was so appropriate!

Relief Society Book of Mormon Class Bookmark & Lesson Schedule

Our stake holds a mid-week Book of Mormon class (similar to other religion's weekly Bible Study) for the women in our boundaries.  I was asked if I'd create a bookmark that had the what/when/where's on the front and the lesson schedule on the back.  This is what I created:

They print as a 3.66 x 8.5 (essentially 1/3 of a sheet of paper).  We had them professionally printed on thicker, glossy paper so they are durable and will easily last throughout the lesson schedule.

Relief Society Birthday Invitation

This week I finished a Relief Society Birthday invitation for my sister-in-law who lives in Ohio.  The criteria was "something bright and cheery, but somewhat fancy and formal."  This is what I came up with to fit:

I think my ward needs to turn their 3rd hour on Mother's Day into a Mother's Day Celebration with lunch to follow too!

I designed this invitation for a military retiree a few years ago and I have never done one like it since!  It's fun to branch out from the usual party invitations!
